As FC Durham continues to grow and evolve, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank two key figures who have been instrumental in our journey since the beginning — Rich and Amy Hirst.

As they depart from FCD, we recognize and appreciate the lasting impact they’ve had on our club and our athletes.

Rich Hirst, affectionately known as Coach Hirst, has been a cornerstone of high-performance soccer in the region for over 20 years.  His dedication and tireless efforts have helped countless athletes earn scholarships, secure Provincial and National Team selections, and develop into confident, disciplined individuals on and off the field.

Amy’s behind-the-scenes support and commitment to the program has also played an integral role in FCD’s operational and cultural success.

We are incredibly grateful for your service, passion, and belief in our mission.  Your legacy will continue through the many players and families whose lives you’ve positively influenced.
