The FC Durham Academy player pathway begins in the Junior Academy, where the foundation for growth and development is established. From there players have the opportunity to progress into multiple competitive pathways, including IModel and OPDL.

FC Durham Academy proudly operates boys’ and girls’ teams from U13 to U17 within both the IModel and OPDL leagues, providing athletes with high-level training and competition at the regional and provincial levels.

At every stage, technical development remains the top priority, while tactical development is introduced in alignment with our club’s playing philosophy, training methodology, and game model.

FCD applies a complete 4-Corner Holistic Approach to player development, which emphasizes:
